Dubai Requires More Permits for Visitors and Workers

Indians coming to Dubai must know this

Recognizing the fact that many foreign visitors to the city-state eventually seek employment, the Dubai government is now requiring that visitors wishing to be employed must first obtain a probationary work permit.

According to Counsellor Ali Humaid bin Khatem, Head of the Naturalization and Residency Prosecution Department in Dubai, visitors with visas need to acquire this permit instead of just relying on the Foreigner Entry and Residency Law to be able to obtain work in the country. [click to continue…]
