Despite the Indian government’s dilemma in curbing runaway inflation in the country, a recent worldwide survey has found that Mumbai and New Delhi amongst the cheapest places to live for an individual.
The recent Worldwide Cost of Living Survey ranked Indian cities Mumbai and New Delhi third and fifth respectively in the cheapest places to live in the world. The survey was done by the international research firm Economist Intelligence Unit where it ranked 134 cities across the world on living costs on items such as food, transportation and even toiletries.
