China Unveils New Visa Regime

In a recent move, China is now in the midst of implementing a new visa regime called “talent introduction” to expand its efforts to attract more skilled workers and professionals from outside China.

The proposed legislation has been forwarded to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the national legislature, for its second reading. Once approved on third reading, the said proposal becomes effective as law. [click to continue…]
